Maple Pecan Bread Recipe

A Very tasty recipe for maple pecan bread. Delicious served warm with butter.
1/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup buttermilk
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 cup pecan halves, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan.
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, syrup, vanilla, and buttermilk. Mix well.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger and allspice in a large bowl. Mix well.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry, stirring to prevent lumps. Add the chopped pecans and mix just enough to incorporate the ingredients.
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
Bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour.
